Already in the 90s was on the team from World Bank (WB) who advised Eastern European countries in the process of conversion from a socialist to a market.He also did consultancy in Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua, among others. He worked then as a consultant to the United Nations Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC), the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and the International Monetary Fund (IMF). It has been a board member of several companies, as AntarChile, the main holding company of the Angelini group, Crusaders SADP, the holding company of the Catholic University football team, and Trade Factoring (financial services), among others. He has received several awards, such as the Business Administrator of the Year at the Catholic University in 2002 Award Yver Raul Oxley (1980) to the best student in Commercial Engineering from UC, and the Luis Cruz Martinez Award (1976) for the best score on the Scholastic Aptitude Test and the best grades in secondary education in Chile.
