History Created on 21 April 1989 as a legal instrument permitting the functional unification of all community health centers and services of Aragon, and to develop the underlying principles of health reform in the territory of the Autonomous Community. Finally, in 2001 we worked in three directions.First, know the opinions of all social groups on the future regulatory model of health care of our Region, reaching the following conclusions: Maintain the current assurance model. Initiate actions to improve citizens’ access to health services. Increase user involvement in health councils. Giving importance to the information that the Health Administration should provide to citizens. Assess hospital-based programs related to health services partner. Opting for the statutory and legal framework model of industrial relations. Subsequently, and with the approval of the Law 6 / 2002 of 15 April, Aragon Health, configuring the so-called Aragon Health System, consisting of all facilities, services and facilities of the Autonomous Community, councils, municipalities and other intra-territorial governments.This system is structured and interrelated progressive levels of health care in order to meet the needs that the process of devolution of Health has for the Regional Administration.
