Kraft Foods is Increasing Its Earnings

Kraft Foods Inc., One of the producers of food and beverages world's largest, announced an increase of 4% in profits during the second quarter, noting that high prices helped to withstand the increases in costs of commodities.

With an increase of 4% in their actions, the maker of Velveeta, Oreo Cookies and Maxwell House, also changed their expectations for the remainder of the year, reducing the fear of shareholders.

In the official report, Kraft Foods announced that its net profits reached 732 million, or 48 cents per share, from 707 million achieved a year ago.
